Terms and conditions

  1. You understand that the consultant is not a qualified doctor and has had no official medical training.

  2. The consultant is not permitted to diagnose, or claim to treat, medical conditions.

  3. The consultant cannot make recommendations about medication.

  4. Nutritional and lifestyle advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment.

  5. The consultant may make recommendations based on nutritional and lifestyle practices only.

  6. The client will disclose, in the questionnaire provided, all medical diagnoses, medication, herbal medicine, or food supplements taken as this may affect the nutritional programme.

  7. The client has notified the consultant of all drugs taken, whether recreational or otherwise. This information will be kept confidential, however it is important to know this due to any possible contraindications or interactions.

  8. The consultant will take no responsibility for the client actions as a result of any recommendations.

  9. The consultant cannot guarantee results or a complete cure.

  10. The degree of benefit obtainable from any recommendations may vary between clients with similar health problems and following a similar programme.

  11. In order to see improvement, the client must follow the advised protocol completely. There may be no improvement if the client does not commit 100%.

  12. It is possible that you will feel unwell during the weekend because the food provided is organic and clean (made from scratch without additives, preservatives, colourants, pesticides, fertilisers or certain common allergens and toxins) and this may not be the kind of diet you are accustomed to. This may have a possible detoxification effect on your body where toxins are released and must be excreted. In this regard, you may experience withdrawal symptoms as your body cleanses and toxins are released. This may include headaches, nausea, tiredness and any other detoxification symptoms. These are normal and will pass.

  13. The consultant may recommend food supplements and/or functional testing as part of the client’s programme and may receive a commission on these products or services

  14. The client is responsible for contacting their GP about any health concerns.

  15. Any supplementation or diet changes should be notified to the client’s GP or medical practitioner in the event of any contraindications or interactions between the programme and any medication.

  16. Nutritional and lifestyle therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.

  17. Practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a 'one size fits all’ approach.

  18. Practitioners never recommend nutritional and lifestyle therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with 'red flag' signs or symptoms to their medical professional.

  19. If the client unsure or unclear about anything, including doses, they will contact the consultant to request clarification.

  20. The preferred communication method is via email, to the email address provided.

  21. Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not allowed without the written permission of both the client and the consultant.

  22. All personal data and consultations will be kept confidential; however, this confidentiality may be broken by the consultant where there is serious concern for the health or wellbeing of the client or another person.

  23. All payments are made in advance.

  24. No refunds will be given for consultations already undertaken, subject to our money back guarantee.

  25. Money Back Guarantee: we are so confident in the knowledge of our consultants and the quality of our services that we are happy to offer a full, no-obligations, money-back guarantee. This applies up until the completion of your initial 1 hour consultation. However, if after your initial 1 hour consultation and before you receive your personalised action plan, you are not entirely happy, you are entitled to request a full refund of the monies paid. You must request this at the end of the consultation appointment both verbally and in writing by email to info@wholisticwellnesscentre.com and receive back full acknowledgement by email. This allows you the opportunity to assess the knowledge of our consultants and ensure we are the right fit for you. You will not be entitled to any money back after you have received your personalised action plan.

  26. A cancellation notice period of at least 24 working hours is required for a full refund, i.e. cancellation is required by Thursday at 5pm for a Monday appointment at 9am. In any case, refunds will not be given where preparation work has been undertaken. A partial refund may be made, on a case by case basis, to reflect costs or time incurred.
